People that stay at the Hyatt Place Hotel the night before will be able to leave their cars in the hotel parking lot, resulting in a saving of about $100 in parking fees instead of parking at the port facility.
Welcome To The 2016 Space-A Cruise!
Well, it's rolling around.... the 2016 Space-A Cruise. This year we will be enjoying one of the largest cruise ships afloat,the Allure of the Seas. We will depart Sunday, May 15th from Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, arriving back early am on Sunday, May 22nd. We will be at sea on Monday and arrive at Labadee, Haiti on Tuesday morning. We will be in Falmouth, Jamaica on Wednesday. Thursday is a day at sea and Friday we will be in Coszumel, Mexico. Conference sessions will be held on Monday and Saturday. The days in port at Labadee, Haiti, Falmouth, Jamaica and Coszumel, Mexico will offer an opportunity to relax and enjoy the warm sunshine and water activities as desired. Various shore excursions are also available. You will have the opportunity to interact with fellow Space-A travelers and gain valuable knowledge from the onboard sessions.
There is no charge for the conference, your cruise registration is your ticket to the conference. Inside cabins, ocean view, balcony and minisuites are available. In order to get meeting space and extra considerations for the group we ask that people not book this on their own. Travel insurance is highly recommended and the moderate costs vary by cabin fare. This covers such events as trip cancellation, interruption, delay or missed connections as well as medical protection, baggage protection and emergency assistance.
Some individuals would like to arrive a day early and/or stay a couple of days after in Ft. Lauderdale. Hyatt Place is the recommended hotel which can be reached on 1-888-492-8847, mention Space-A group (Hyatt Place is also known as the 17th street convention hotel).
