Charles, if you get the quarter deck to send a driver, ask him to wait till you are check in before leaving. Last time at Oceana our building was several block from the office.

If you have trouble getting around or have heavy baggage, you might try calling the Quarter Deck to see if a duty driver is available. My wife and I availed ourselves of this courtesy on one occasion at Oceana. Sometimes you luck out. What the hey, all they can say is "no!"

Charles, to get to the gate it is at least a 20min walk. All flat, but a long bag drag. The lodging office is less of a walk, but not much. Off to the right when you are heading to the gate.

I am traveling to Oceana Sunday. Once on the ground what is the best way to get to lodging. Are taxis allowed on base? How far is it to a gate to get a cab?
