We were going to eat at a Mexican place at the Landing and discovered it had been shut down by the health inspectors! I don't remember what I had at Hooters but it had to be better than toxic tacos. Were foster parents, currently without a baby, so the foster care god's have to cooperate as well. We were attempting to leave Rota about a week before 2008 S&S was about to start. Met a few nice folks from the board at billeting. Twenty three degrees when we got up this morning. Sandi and Phil Doubleman hope to be joining you at the BFB this year. I got sick last year and couldn't make it. This year we're all signed up and rearing to go. Let's hear from all who plan to attend. We are sort of favoring North Island for a jumping off point. Ft. Worth looks good, but a little further to travel. Sorry to hear that you aren't going to make it, Dirk. We always look forward to seeing you. Fortunately, USAA covered the cost but we have been gunshy of leaving during the dead of winter. It rarely gets down below -45 F here in Fraser, the "Icebox of the Nation". Pardon if I seem to have hijacked the thread but I won't be able to attend for the aforementioned reason. We do love the Hale Koa facilities and hope you all have a good time.
