Doesn't this thread belong somewhere else? I can't find a problem with the space-a message board anywhere in it.

Just checked with Andrews to see if they had received our signup. Was advised that they have a new (different?) email. It's passenger@af.ncr.mil

Kat,

What you see on the report of flights from NAS Whidbey Island may look like this:
(Orig) NAS/JRB Willow Grove(PA), 50T -> Lajes, 50T -> Sigonella, 50T

This is means there is going to be one aircraft flying one mission. It will originate at Whidbey, flies to Willow Grove Pennsylvania then it continues to Lages Air Base (in the Azores) and on to NAS Sigonella (on the island of Sicily) where the mission terminates. They are projecting 50 space-a seats - tentatively. i.e. 50T

Whidbey on of the few bases that list the entire itinerary (all the stops) of a mission. Most bases just give the mission's first stop. That might be the only stop but one doesn't know unless you call the passenger terminal and talk to a pax rep. And then you still may not know - because he/she doesn't have the information.

For the best (and more detailed information) check out the NAS Whidbey Island web site (one of the best available)
http://naswiops.ahf.nmci.navy.mil/space-a/schedule.htm
There you will find information about where aircraft arriving at Whidbey are coming from.

Hope this helps

Fly Navy!
Gene W.

I have been looking at this site for sometime just waiting for the time my
husband and I can travel all over. It is fantastic. I have family up by
whidbey island and would really like to travel from there, but it is
written in a confusing manor. most list:
base approx time then seats
base approx time then seats
Which is good but on the whidbey site it is all one line and I do not know
what is what? Help Kat
