Sorry, what I meant to say was is in the profile you can set what you want to see when you log on. I don't always want to look at the Cruise or Solo info, so I don't have those boxes ticked. Like I said as well as Cherry and John, switching from one computer to the other will make things that you have already looked at be new again. |

The option to select 1-day, 3-day, or 7-day info is at the top of the page and not in a user's profile (anyone reading the messages can select it without being logged in). I'm with Cherry - happens to me all the time when using different computers. |

Bob, I think what you're experiencing ("new" messages that you previously did read) is because you are using 2 different computers, not because of any setting in your profile. The software for this board seems to recognize members not only by our sign-on names, but also based on the computer we're using (presumably it puts cookies on each one). If you will use only one computer to read this board I think you will find the confusion disappears. |

Don, I looked into my profile, but couldn't find the place to select 1-day, 3-day, or 7-day info. Any idea where it is? |

Bob, do you have your profile set to just get 1 day info, or is it set on 3 or 7. Might have something to do with it. I know when I switch from computer to computer, everything is fresh if I go on my second computer. |

Every time I move to one of the discussions on my notebook I see the yellow highlighted "new!" by a number of messages where the last entry was 3-4 days earlier. Yet, on my Apple desk top the same yellow "new!" does highlight only new messages for that day. Is there something that I can click on to have my notebook recognize new messages from old? |
