Don,
a coupla suggestions. In you mil.com account go into "settings" (along the top line), "email filtering", "trusted senders"and add the email addressess you want to accept.
In your hotmail account bring up the junk email and hit the "not junk" button. Maybe this will put future emails in the inbox instead of the junk folder.

Wanda, only trouble is I didn't have a spam box in my MIL.com, so I switched back to my Hotmail, now it works, but goes to junk mail.

Things show up in my SPAM box too, but I just read them from there and then move them to my KEEP folder (which I set up in my email account) or delete.

Ciao/Wanda

Another question, I have switched from my mil.com account to my hot mail account now so it will send me a copy if I log on to someones profile and send a message to them. Now for some reason when I do send messages, they end up in my junkmail box. Strange part is they are coming from myself. Never happen before, could it be something new from Dirks latest update?

OK John, it works on my hot mail, but not mil.com, so guess that is the problem.

If you are looking for it on a mil.com account then you won't see it. Your gimail.af.mil account is the one that's assigned to your profile. Have you checked there?

Yes, I just opened up and got your test John, but it don't work for me. I am using mil.com, and don't have a spam folder that I know of. I am sure It was working weeks ago, same computer, didn't change anything I know of. It isn't a big thing, just wondered why it won't work. If Dirk hasn't got an answer, maybe change back to my Hotmail account and see if it works. Thanks.

Oh, I thought you said the box was at the bottom of the threads.

Just sent you a test and I received a copy so it's working (at least for me).

Do you have a SPAM folder or have you changed anything on the computer recently?

John, what I am trying to do, is if I want to send someone a e-mail, by linking from their info on their profile, at the bottom there is a box saying check here if you want to get a copy. When I check it, I don't get the copy. It used to work, but not now. I don't remember changing any settings. Of course I can't remember yesterday some times.

Don,

You must have an additional option available to you as the only box I see available for one to check at the bottom replies to message threads is for "Automatically activate URLs in message/" That is for making hyperlinks active (not for emailing you copies of your message).

What exactly dose the box you are checking say?

In your Profile there is an Email Notification Section where you can select options (as Dirk said for sending a copy to yourself) - is that what you are referring to? I know for a fact that's working (at least for me) as I just tested it.

Dirk, After reeding my message again, I see where I said e-mails from members, what I meant was answering in the comment box at the bottom of threads. Click in the box to have a copy sent to me. I have tried several times since, but no luck. Where am I going wrong?

Dirk I have tried it several times in the last couple of days, but for some reason it won't come back to me. Maybe the pigeon has become lost. It isn't a big thing, I just checked my profile, but don't see anywhere I need to check,(tick) to receive anything back when I reply. As I said I have check the box to forward to myself. (I know it is sad to send things to yourself)

Don, There shouldn't be any reason you don't get the email if you check the box for sending a copy to yourself....

I get e-mails from different members from time to time. Usually when I reply when it comes through Pepperd, I check the box at the bottom saying to send a copy to my self so I can keep a copy for reference. Lately when I check the box I don't get the e-mail sent back to me. Is this something anyone else is having a problem with? Or is in something new that Dirk has built in the new system?
