Thanks for letting me know. I've notified the security team at my hosting provider who will notify the FBI on the matter. I can't believe people try to get away with this stuff. They should find a different hobby. |

John D. I am getting the message on all screens. The message comes up with Norton Identity Safe that normally comes up asking for my username and password. This feature on Norton allows me to store usernames and passwords for sites. As all threads have the ability to require usernames and passwords (for messages), that is why it comes up on all threads. Until today it was not a problem. Best I can tell nothing has impacted me. The link provided by Norton shows the link I posted in my first post. I did not click on the link, but Dinotars did and a phishing site appeared. I think I am OK. But, I wanted to keep the pepperd site safe. Thanks, David |

David, At least one other person has experienced the same phish attempt. Interesting that he also uses Norton. It would help to clarify what part of the board you accessed when you got the phish message. Dirk will have to check the server to see if that is even a valid url (I suspect it's not). If it is indeed residing on the pepperd.com server then I'm sure he'll delete it. |

Dinotars, you are braver that I am. Seems the administrator of the site needs to clear this URL off the pepperd board. ASAP. Thanks for checking. Let's make sure that no one completes the information request. |

When I click the URL,I get a blank questionnaire from Bank of America seeking personal information, which I would not fill out or reply to. |

Today, I have been receiving a "Norton Safe Web" identity threat message when I am on the Pepperd site. Norton software says there is a security threat on the pepperd site. The message lists the following URL as the problem. It implies that there is a phishing attempt. Is there a problem with the site? The offending URL is listed below. http://pepperd.com/helpdesk/Bankofamerica.com/auth_information/Identify_user1502 525-525a&&554454/index.html Anybody else getting this message? |
