Dinotars, I sure don't know what the answer is for this one and I apoligize for taking this thread further off topic. The Last Category Moved is not a "real time" posting as I see it. It might be real time to the poster but once the "Post this Message" button is clicked, it just became old news. It should be used for planning purposes and not for chasing flights out of another terminal because you are stuck somewhere. I'd just like to see it a bit more organized so that those of us who do use if for planning, don't have to look at numerous posts for the information when it could easily be consolidated much the same as departure locations are. If I can ever figure out HTML, maybe I can submit a plan to accomplish that. Until then, again, my thanks to all who post anything here in any topic. |

Bill, Yes it probably would be nice to have all the posts of the same location together. Can you suggest a method for accomplishing compliance with the actual postings to result in such a configuration.Random poster at locations all over are not easy to communicate with and insure compliance with this procedure. |

Wouldn't it be nice though to look at various dates for one location and under one thread (as many posters do) and see the trends for movement by day of the week rather than search through X number of posts? I really don't think it takes much time to look for a specific location and tack onto that thread. And I do appreciate all the posters who do take the time to do so in any format. |

Bill Ward, Flight Posters are a dedicated group and comply with the posting directives, therefore their posts are made in a more consistent format. For the Last Category Moved forum however, posts to that forum are made randonmly by pax who happen to be temporarily at a given terminal and wish to post current information. They are not aware of prior posts and do not usually have the time to search thru the threads to tack on to a post some days or weeks prior to their own post. We are grateful for their time and posts however. |

Chuck D, I see what you were referring to re.Moron.There should be entries in the same month fo the same location as concerns flights in the Flight Schedule Information forum.A change in thread heading is made when there is a new month or year.Poster has been advised. |

The same thing occurs in Last Category Moved. Ramstein must have at least nine different threads. |

Dino, Check the listings for Moron and you will see what I mean. There are three threads so far for May; there should only be one thread for Moron and daily entrys. We haven't been doing this since we got organized long ago. |

Chuck D, Although your post addressed Dirk,I offer this comment: The flight posters post with a thread heading for the location and month/year.When the entry is posted it is final. The next entry for the same month follows. When the month and or year changes a new thread heading must be titled and used for that month and year. This obviously must be a in new thread. |

Dirk, I think your rationale is good except in the case of flight schedules. Having two months available gives a better opportunity to spot trends for flight planning. I also note that some schedule contributors are making multiple threads for the current month instead of just an additional entry under the same thread. |

Sorry Notyo... When I archive stuff I used to keep the top 60 threads. I now go down to the top 80 figuring that by the time they got down that far the topic would have time to get answered. In the future I'll take a closer look at the dates. |

Why eliminate access to Flight Schedule Information for April starting on May 1??? Your own guidelines say info will be archived behind your paywall AFTER 45 days. Recommend you keep one entire previous month's worth of information available to all. Gleaning trends from that information is useful. Thanks! |
