The free bus, as noted, parks in terminal 3 which is very large. When you enter the terminal walk all the through and it will be outside to your right front. You should ensure you are signed up as soon as you can for both legs of the trip. The free bus goes to the airport, not downtown London, but it pretty easy getting to London from the airport. I am wondering how easy it is to get back to McConnell for a return trip? I saw that there is a free bus to London. I can check on the ground transp. thread, but if you have any information on the free bus that would be great. If returning to McConnell is there a way to get home from any other OCONUS bases or should I expect to do a turn around from Mildenhall? Any other words of wisdom would be appreciated. I have my command letter and will be traveling with two teenagers. We traveled last summer CAT 3 and have the same classification this summer. Thanks.
