PAX rep at ext5283 at Naples (NAP) confirmed that seats on PatEx today were available for everyone wanting to go from NAP to Norfolk. |

I telephoned Souda Bay (CHQ) Passenger rep and confirmed I would have gotten a seat if I (a Cat VI) were present this AM for the flight to Naples>Lajez>Norfolk. The PatEx departed CHQ this E/LAM with open seats. |

The tranportaion dispatch number is 722-8063 at Moron where U could try for information on buses daily from Seville and once a week(Wed?) from Rota NEX.
See Souda Bay flight to Norfolk(PatEx) and to USA west coast. Reed- There are small planes occasionally from Stuttgart to Sigonella; see FAQ 6.3, and spacea.net ->Location Europe for flight ops contact. |

This is a time for all SPATS to bring their ingenuity into play,check the possibilities at other bases,flights schedule information,calls to Pax terminals,advice of other travelers to overcome this disruption of normal service. |

I would take my chances from Rota vs Ramstein. Although Ramstein has more flights, they also have a lot more traffic wanting to go to the states. Additional, at this time of year it would be better to be in Spain vs. Germany. Happy Travels and enjoy yourself while you wait on a flight. |

Don't forget to check on what could be headed stateside from Moron. Moron is closer to Seville than Rota and the there is a free bus from Seville to Moron. |

Reed, you have come to the right place. Check for Rota Flight Schedule Information and Last Category Moved on this web site while you are in Sevilla, and you will have your answer. If I were you I would try to leave from Rota. They usually have flights to the states everyday. Besides, I can not think of a better place to be stranded. Check in with the PAX service folks, grab a rental car, and head to the beach. But then again, that recommendation is coming to you from someone that lives in Alaska! |

Stuck in Switzerland till Monday hard to get a train to Spain We are trying to get to Rota does anyone think chance of Flight from Rota to Anywhere USA will be their Can hang on till first week of May if need to Which would be Better Rota or Ramstein is guess what I am asking should I come back from Spain to Ramstein or take a chance on flight from Rota after visiting Family in Sevilla |
