The nice folks at McGuire and the hardworking McChord crew took everyone who wanted to go (45?) to McChord on Thursday.

Seems like all westbound traffic from all east coast bases were short on activity. Let's blame the volcano.

David, I am sorry you are having a hard time getting out. You should have come down to Charleston and Ron and I could have been your tour guides while you waited here for a flight to McChord. I sent you a private email but it came back. I wrote expressing how grateful we were for all of your help while we were stranded in Dover last week. Send us an email when you get back. I wish you success in getting out of McGuire today.

David and company arrived here at McGuire and joined the group of folks waiting for a plane going west. 6 McChord flights have disappeared over the past 5 days. We are holding tickets and hoping for the best. It must have something to do with that darn volcano??? Nice folks here at McGuire are trying their best to get everyone on board.

David,

Willow Grove shows a flight to Boise tomorrow. Might get you close to home. Good luck.

We arrived at Dover two days ago for a ride to McCord. So far any that shown on the schedule are canceled before show time. The same for Travis. There have been eleven of us waiting. Most, longer than us. This morning's McCord flight was canceled and the afternoon Travis flight has been changed to zero seats. Any flights listed for Germany have either dropped off or have been changed to Rota. We chipped in togeather and got a cab/van to take us to McGuuire. They were showing two flights to McCord today but one has already dropped off. Hate seeing the active duty people wasting leave. Here we sit.
David
