I would suggest if you get to Ramstein, and nothing heading to Rota from there, then head to Frankfort/Hahn and fly to Jerez from there. Using Ryanair. |

Plenty of European discount airlines fly the Germany/Spain route taking tourists to and from holiday destinations. For example, looking at Air Berlin website, they have a mid Sept one way fare from Stuttgart to Seville for about 120 Euros..... |

Stuttgart to Rota would be rare. More likely Stuttgart to Sig as most of the traffic is heading to the African Continent via Sig. |

We planned a trip to Europe this fall. Initially I was planning to fly from the East Coast to Rota and spend a week or so in Andalusia, and then hoping to get a flight to either Ramstein or Stuttgart to visit friends in Germany, and then fly back via Ramstein or Spangdahlem. Now we have to be early September in Germany; how difficult is it to fly from Germany to Rota? Does Stuttgart have any direct flights, or would one have to go via Sigonella to Rota? |
