Mike, I think Dirk has made it fairly clear in the description for the Off Topic Forum: "Please limit messages in this section to generic non-Space-A specific travel info. Please do not post discussions on controversial topics (e.g. politics, religion etc...)" If "Wardroom Rules" is clearer for some folks then please, "Wardroom Rules" folks! |

John, I'm sure you're aware of this, but my CO told all new officers "Welcome to the wardroom. There are 3 things we don't discuss in the wardroom. Politics, Religion and 'the ladies', ie. Sex." Perhaps you could refer to "Wardroom Rules" when advising posters of what they should and should not discuss. Just my two pesos worth. Mike |

All, Please take some time to review the info in your board Profile. Specifically, please ensure your email address is current as that is the primary means that others use to contact you off-line. Secondly, please refrain from posting generic non-Space-A travel topics in the General Space-A Forum - Dirk created the Off Topic Forum many moons ago to accommodate generic travel discussions. Finally, speaking of the Off-Topic Forum, the intent of that forum is not a catch-all for any topic under the sun. Specifically, controversial topics (e.g. political commentary) normally end up in less-than-civil discussions and eventually deleted. Please try to keep the topics on sharing travel and generic topics with others - not "sap-box" speeches. Thanks!! |
