The runway reopened to fixed wing aircraft again, so I am goint to try to catch the flight from clark later this week. I guess if you can't clear immigration there they won't let you board the aircraft. I have to travel to clark from Manila so I will see if It works. Thanks for input everyone. |

We're on a cruise from Florida to Europe and just saw on our cabin television that there were large demonstrations at Futenma wanting it off the island and not relocated north. |

I had flight to Futenma from Clark last December and was taken by them to Immigration and customs. However, I was told by fellow Spat that the Futenma runway is closed (Jan 2010) for repair and that they are cuttently flying from Kadena. |

I know from reading John D's info on Japan that retirees cannot spacea arrive at Atsugi and a friend told me that is also true for Futenma on Okinawa. Said only thru Kadena can non sofa enter okinawa. Does anyone know for sure if Japan has immigration entry exit at Futenma as I am trying to take a spacea flight there if I can later this week from the Philippines. |
