If no flights out of Tinker; Ft Worth NAS has a flight Monday to North Island (San Diego) and next Sat. to Pt Mugu (Oxnard). Then do a one way rental car to March. |

I post for Tinker and they haven't had any flights for sometime but, I know they are flying since I can see and hear the 135's overhead. I don't know but maybe you could call base ops and plead mercy and one of the guys will help. |

Staci, if you are close to Tinker I would suggest you go in person and talk with the people in the terminal. It can be a totally different story than what you are hearing on the recording, and also they can project out a few days to let you know what is planned. |

It is very unlikely that you will find any flights between Tinker and March. The mission of these two bases and type of acft assigned, are not compatible. I'm not saying it can't happen, but don't count on it.
Your most likely route into Southern CA from the TX/OK region might be with the Navy out of Ft Worth to North Island, or Miramar (both are in the San Diego area). Other places to check would be McConnell AFB in Wichita, KS, or the Guard unit at Topeka, KS. If you should find a flight from any of these places, don't count on finding a return flight to OK, and be prepared to buy comm'l tickets. |

Thank you so much. I did call and the recording said as of may 3rd there were no flights scheduled...I'm praying that the information will change when I call back on monday. If it doesn't however do you have any suggestions? Thanks for you time and the information. God bless. |

I've been on the internet searching how everything works for some time now and i'm just exhausted. lol. My husband/sponser and the kids and i (4 people in total) are on emergency leave and we are needing to fly back to march from tinker in a few days. i've signed up and everything i have read says to call the day before and day of to check on schedules however i cannot find the number for tinker afb for the life of me and i didn't see any flight schedule for tinker. can someone please help me. thanks so much.
