We have in the past flown non-stop from Hickam to Charleston AFB SC (which certainly qualifies as East Coast!) and also from Hickam to Rickenbacker ANGB OH (in Columbus; not exactly "east" but an easy 6- or 7-hour drive to various coastal locations). I have seen occasional flights on the Hickam board non-stop to Reagan-National Airport in Washington DC area as well as to various other eastern locations. Today's large jets can, especially when not full of cargo, go surprisingly long distances without re-fueling. |

There are direct flights although most stop on the West Coast. I flew from Hickam to McGuire on a KC10 that was returning to home base last year. You may find that a stop on the West Coast becomes necessary due to competition for a seat at Hickam. Watch this board for Travis, McCord and Elmendorf as you may also find a route through Elmendorf. A few Elmendorf flights go directly to the East Coast. |

I was reading in the Flight Schedule for May a flight from Hickham to Dover. I am reading this correctly or do the flights stop at West Coast? Thanks for your help. I am new at the Space A world and am planning a trip from Australia later in the year. |
