Charles, I can tell you that the flights from Charleston (CHS) to CA & SA have changed a bit. Noticed this has happened around the start of the new year. Previously, you could count on a flight to Soto Cano AB, Honduras on the 2nd Tuesday of every month. Also, most flights to CA & SA took place toward the end of the month. Not all flights, but most. Now a days, CHS still goes to all those places but trying to predict a flight pattern from previous months schedules is impossible. Good Luck _ |

Miami-Montevideo would be great if it is an actual route. My end state is Santiago, Chile and I imagine I could get the fairly cheaply from there. Not to mention the fact that Montevideo looks amazing. |

A VIP from USSOUTHCOM flew MILAIR from Miami to Montevideo last week, stayed a few days, then flew home. I wasn't able to find out what A/C type or if there was room for SpaceA pax, but this seems more common than I thought. I will try to do some more digging |

Once in a while NAS Jacksonville flies to Soto Cano and El Salvador Int'l. No discernible pattern, however. |

Awesome, thanks. If anyone is ever stuck at McGuire, I live 25 minutes away and usually have a spare bedroom, or at the very least, a couch and a love seat. Shoot me an email or, if you're on it, look me up on Couchsurfing.org. |

Charles: Welcome to the Board! If you have not yet done so, please familiarize yourself with JohnD's SpaceA Pages (link top left), the general layout of this site and the Search Function (magnifying glass at top center) of this site. Nearly all questions can be answered from those three sources. Having read thru the FAQs is a great start and I would suggest reading thru the other sections on JohnD's site as well. For your answer, you might want to look at Charleston AFB in the Flight Schedule section of this site. Most Central and South America flights seem to start there. Happy travels, John |

Who flies to Central or South America? I know flights are sporadic and random there at best, but hopefully someone knows where to look to get a good idea of who flies there occasionally. |
