That is a long way off and the schedule can change between now and then. The military will tell you which flight you are scheduled to take.

Thanks guys. The only thing is he graduates on Feb 8th and reports NLT March 14. We don't want to wait until the last one as he has to take leave over the holidays due to the school etc...
I will C&P what you guys said so that if the flight is delayed etc... Hopefully he is covered :D
Thanks for all of the help. Oh and I finally found the "schedule" for the rotator. I know they vary as we have had a few friends stranded for a few days lol and we tend to hear them as they come in over our house. Thanks again for all of the help!

Breezy,

You will not be wasting leave. If you get assigned to the rotator or any other flight arrangements, a port call message will be released and it will dicate your travel. It states it is a ORDMOD as well. If you turn in your travel claim and have days of "waiting" on your flight, consider putting down "AT" for the days you were there to fly and waiting on the flight. Not sure if it will work a 100 percent of the time but you should consider and ask your PSD clerk.

The Naples rotator can vary each week by a day or so for whatever reason. You will not have to waste any leave. They will schedule you as space required and you will have a seat whenever it goes.
Good luck on your new assignment.

If you are PCSing and scheduled on a rotator, you will be space required. You won't be wasting leave.

Carole could you tell me about the rotator? Is it set for the same day of the week (as long as there are no break downs or other delays) I ask because we have orders to Naples and are being told if it is available we will be taking the rotator which is fine BUT I don't want to sit in Norfolk and waste 2 weeks or so of leave when we could get a commercial flight out. I saw when the one left Norfolk and was wondering if it would still be "set" as every 2 weeks for the next 6 months or so. Sorry just trying to plan.

As Dinotars stated, the Naples flight schedule is not available on line. They have an old schedule from April 2010 and it will not be updated.
As the poster for Naples, I call to receive the schedule that I post.

There is a remark on the Naples page as follows:
"Online Flight Schedules: Not available at this time."
You will have to view the Flight Schedule Information forum or call Naples terminal.

I am sorry I must apologize to Naples, it was Sigonella that I had a problem getting flt info from. Individuals at Naples went out of their way to get me info concerning flts out of there.

I was at Naples last month and it was like getting blood out of a turnip. I called and even walked over to the terminal about flts out of Naples. Some one finally messed up and told me that there was a flt to Ramstein early in the afternoon. I was able to get our things together but there were a few others which arrived at the terminal and were a little upset.

Carole,
Naples NSA being an AMC terminal should generally follow the guidelines in AMC directives as do the other USN AMC terminals,Norfolk, Jacksonville, Sigonella and Rota.

It's quite possible the .mil version is updated. If I get a chance I'll check this week and compare the two versions.

John D & Dinotars,
I am accessing the same schedule that everyone else is seeing, April 2010. I thought an updated May schedule was available on .mil. I call for the schedule, but they are pretty secretive. They don't even want to give it over the phone due to security. It is a private company that runs the pax terminal, I believe. I will pry it out of them day by day if I have to.

The Naples schedule is accessible from a home computer (not .mil) - at least this home computer.

dinotars,
The flight schedule is only available from military computers. I have not been able to access it. The schedule that I see is from April and it only gives date ranges.
