WG is the Navy's best kept secret. Unfortunately, the whole thing is BRAC'd out of existence beginning in Jan 2011 (incl Navy Lodge). I keep hoping for a stay of execution. |

Yes, it is a possible flight if and when they go. Keep an eye on both schedule postings by our reps. |

Looks like I have been missing the boat about Willow Grove (WG). My wife and I stayed in lodging there for a week last Sep before I departed for Germany, and she went back to Orlando Florida. Judging from what I see about WG we should have flown there from NAS Jax instead of flying commercial, and when I returned to McGuire, I should have checked WG to see if they had any fligts to NAS Jax, instead of flying commercial home. While we were there, there was no sign of any flying activities, so we didn't even check. Looks like WG flies back and forth to NAS Jax about once a week. Is there anyone out there who has flown space a into WG from Florida, or flown out of WG to FL? JC |
