Charla &LDMaster. Ft Polk is an ideal place for a military post location--out in middle of nowhere, hot and muggy, sand, rain and plenty of lightning when the occasion calls for.I spent several weeks there training foreign troops prior to us getting involved in BH.Some of the East Europeans were ready to go home after a few days at Polk. They were not used to working a 15 hour day. There was one or two good places off base to go for good seafood-cant remember the names--one place looked like a log cabin off the main road--always packed with locals and mil families. After three weeks, all the "trainees" were taken to an amusement park for a day and then packed up on C141s and flown back across the big pond.

Alexandria was also a main hub of departure for those illegals being returned back to their home country.

I've been watching the BWI posts lately because some friends of our are currently trying to get to Germany.
Anyhow, in the last week I've seen some unusual destinations listed: Alexandria, LA, and Ohau, HI. Anyone out there care to enlighten us since these are not Patriot Express routes. Is BWI also handling other contract or even military flights?
