Then, periodically conduct this test at your leisure (you don't have to do it too often), and then I would further suggest conducting this test a week or two before getting ready to sign up for real. This way, if there are any problems, you have time to ask for help and get them sorted out before it's too late. They are swamped with them, most of which represent passengers that never show up. Instead, they wait for you to show up and hand over the print-out of your email request. I just submitted a request, the confirmation request email was in my mailbox in about 5 seconds, I clicked the confirmation link, clicked to confirm, and the final email copy was in my inbox about 5 seconds after that.
