Just signed up for my pre-terminal leave trip, upwards of 25 locations (five forms), one thing to remember is that it is a TWO step process; sumit Take-A-Hop, then receive an email to your email address with a link to send the request to the locations. V/R and Blessings, Chaps |

Suggestion: For anyone who has just recently updated their anti-spam software or purchased a new one, my suggestion would be to go to "take-a-hop" and sign up using the "sim signup - Test e-mail" and see that the replies are still ending up in your "Inbox" and not "Junk/Spam Folder". Then, periodically conduct this test at your leisure (you don't have to do it too often), and then I would further suggest conducting this test a week or two before getting ready to sign up for real. This way, if there are any problems, you have time to ask for help and get them sorted out before it's too late. Just an idea and another way to prepare for what can come your way when traveling Space "A". |

I've received confirms from Norfolk to my sign ups many times in a short period of time from the time I sent the message. |

Hey, wow! I got a confirmation from AMC Norfolk "You are signed up for space-a at Norfolk, good until 30 July." Never had that before. |

Patricia, most bases do not file the emails and faxes they get. They are swamped with them, most of which represent passengers that never show up. Instead, they wait for you to show up and hand over the print-out of your email request. There are only a few exceptions - BWI is one I know of. |

Well, it seems to be working all right for me. I just submitted a request, the confirmation request email was in my mailbox in about 5 seconds, I clicked the confirmation link, clicked to confirm, and the final email copy was in my inbox about 5 seconds after that. No problems. |

Strange that it would not get filed on any of the bases I sent it to. More likely it seems that Take-a-hop didn't work. |

I did not receive a copy of either sign-up to go to Europe or return (done two different days). Is there any way to get a copy? I really didn't have a choice but to sign-up again otherwise it was going to be putting me back even further. |

"did not go through" or did not get filed at the receiving base? Big difference. |

If she sent a 2nd sign-up in then she may be SOL. It pays to read all the FAQ's. The 2nd one will cancel out the 1st sign-up. |

Did you keep a printed copy of your signup? If so, the departure location should be able to honor it. See the related Spacea.net FAQ article. |
