It isn't, but it depends on how many are waiting. The Last Category Moved posts can be very helpful to learn how many are waiting, but we aren't getting enough of those posts now. |

The flight to Sigonella this evening from Norfolk has 24 available seats if this helps you decide which rotator to take!! |

There are flights from Sig to Naples-they are common, but whether or not there will be one when you need it is questionable. Also, you may need to keep mind of baggage weight for some of them. Besides the train, you can also take the ferry from Naples to Catania. It is an overnight ferry. Basic deck chairs run around 30 euro (very uncomfortable) or you can get a cabin. TTT Lines is the company and their website does have an English option. You can also fly-Air Italy has a direct flight from Naples to Catania daily. Prices vary and again, you'll want to keep baggage light to avoid overweight/excess fees. |

During my return by PatExp to Norfolk I met Cat VI at Naples in Oct 2009 who took the train or bus for 7 hours from Sigonella to Naples. Some next morning flights from Sigonella become known to PAX only after 8 PM the night before; where I took a C-9 to Souda Bay with 10 other passengers and 40+ open seats. The link ' John D space-a pages ' at the top of the board gives ' Locations - Europe ' that lists telephone numbers to the PAX terminals, and Base Ops. PAX representatives can be a good source of information. |

Justine- I think they are still looking for a new Sig poster. But, yes there are flights btw Sig and Naples (we caught one in Feb). If there's none on the schedule, I think the train was btw 40-60 euros. Which is almost what you'd spend on a night lodging. i think there has been info posted about getting to the train station, so do a search, or maybe someone else can help you. |

I am not sure we have a poster for Sigonella now. It seems i remember the poster was AD and he moved. I am the poster for Naples. There are very frequent flights from Naples to Sigonella. Example: Tomorrow there are 4 flights to Sigonella from Naples. |

I am not finding a whole lot of flight history or schedules for Sigonella. I am flying from Norfolk to Naples and I am finding that on my way home I could most definitely probably find a flight from Naples to Sigonella but is it always vice versa? For instance if I were to come across a flight to Sigonella could I assume that they fly frequently to Naples? Is this making sense? |
