Based on Barry Cantor's posting of 4/13, I just called (1:30 am)the Space Coast Inn (321-494-5428). They have 24/7 reservation service. I was able to make a reservation for the 12th, the receptionist was very helpful. Barry thank you for the lead and all your efforts to make this a delightful cruise for the SPAT group. |

Made reservations at Best Western. They give a military rate and hopefully can cancel and stay at PAFB. Many motels and hotels have no vacancy that date. Felt like I'd better get a place to stay the night. Looking forward to another cruise with Space A folks. Hopefully the weather will be nice and we'll have plenty of sun. |

Sounds like you called the right number but you may have called too late and the occupancy rate for your dates has gone up; therefore, they are down to a 3-day advance reservation system. See the USAF Reservation policy at http://dodlodging.net/VT_SpaceAPolicy.htm |

I read the two reports that reservations had been made at the Inn. I called today at 4pm to make reservations for May 12th and was told I would have to call three days prior. What is the truth about this? Can we make reservations and how else do I make them? I called the # to the Inn at Patrick. Is there some other place to call? |
