You think the crew just decided to leave early, and didn't check with PAX for SPATs? That looks like a possibility, since roll call was at 8:10 and they informed you around 9. Takeoff shouldn't have been until 10:10.
The "manuevering" does sound like a B.S. excuse. |

Have to bite the bullet. Dover to Charleston NP. 8:10 showtime for Jackson flight. Went OK, got boarding pass - I'm the only passenger. At about 9 Sgt comes in and whispering with the pax guy. Then the sgt turns around and tells me "they are going to do maneuvering and you've been dropped. Bu## Sh@#! They forgot me!.. After sitting and watching for about 5 hours, not impresssed with Charleston Pax service.
Billeting full, taxi to motel and bought commercial ticket
Oh well, might save money in the long run and I'm tired. |

Got into Dover last night -no room at the inn. Got a taxi ($15) to Galaxy Best Western -$79 Space Rate)
Wanted to catch an early AM flight to Marietta, Ga or early PM flight o Memphis. Both disappeared.
Now waiting on a early pm flight to Charleston, hopefully in time to get on the Jackson MS flight.
Last evening the flight to Landstuhl took all Cat 1-5 and one Cat 6. There was a broke C5 for Ramstein that had diverted here and the passengers were hoping to get on with their journey.
One Ramstein is now loading I think.

53 seats -all got boarding passes that wanted to go. Waiting to board now.
Didn't really want to go to Dover, but it's across the pond and no lodging available tonight at Ramstein.
Looking for flights south from Dover Any ideas? |

I'm waiting to see if I can get on 1 of the 3 flights to US (Dover and McGuire)
I got in late last night after dropping my civ companions off at the K-town bahnhof (they are return Going to CONUS via Paris and London)
Yesterday a flight to Charleston left with 40 empty sets - curses! |
