It has been our experience that it's difficult, if not impossible, to obtain a room at the Westwind Inn on most Friday and Saturday nights (for reserve weekends). Sunday through Thursday has never been a problem for us.

We were able to get a reservation for the Westwind Inn for March 2 . The desk clerk said they have plenty of the $39 rooms available in March/ April.

Any time I've been able to score a room at Travis whether at the main building or one of the outlying buildings has been much appreciated. Certainly beats taking a taxi into Fairfield and paying for a motel.

Hello everyone, I was just at Travis and like always in my opinion the place is great and the rooms are very nice.

There is one change that might be of interest to all and that is there is a new Pax monitor where the ATM machine was located at before. The only thing I found out about the monitor is that the terminal seems not to be putting the seat release on this monitor. If you call the terminal you will get a seat number and if you look at the monitor, it will say TBD. Locations seem to be current. I think this will save some walking in order to get information. There is also a CAD unit there, not much help for us CAT VIs.

The ATM is still located in the building. It is now over by the TV in the lobby.

Just spent a night at the Westwind Inn after arriving from Hickam enroute to McChord. Great rates, great rooms. Just wish there was a shuttle from the terminal as it was a bit of a hike with two bags. May have to invest in one with wheels.

The new Westwind Inn has not be open 5 years but I have enjoyed my stay at either one. Too bad they no longer allow you to eat at the dining halls. Happy Travels.
