The campground is very busy in the summer. But they do what they can to accommodate.

When we stayed at Hill afb the lodging was about the same price as something respectable in town. The gym is very crowded all the time, and is a very busy base.

We spent a week at Hill AFB last week and can tell you for sure you will be pleased with the quarters and the amenities they offer. Our stay was during a snow storm so our use of the base facilities was limited but they have a large PX, Commissary, 24 hour gas station and 24 hour Convenience Store. Quarters rates have been raised since our last visit, but a suite was still only $41.50 a night and in comparison to local rates was a steal. The suite consisted of a living room, bedroom, kitchen and bath. Wi-Fi was included and it was strong even in the end unit that we had. Your chance of getting a room on the first and third weekend is sparse based on the reserve unit’s use on those weekends so plan accordingly.
