We will probably be cancelling 3 days at Waianea for nights of Feb. 22-24. This is a 2bedroom unit. This might help someone. |

Greetings, Larry: Well, using a walker, it might take a little longer than 10 minutes...:-) |

It's strange this year. All military lodging on Oahu seems to be filled from now through to the middle of February. What's going on? |

I think walking from the PAX Terminal to lodging office in less than 10 minutes is pushing the envelope just a little bit. Larry |

Greetings, Otha: I've had it work both ways at Hickam...sometimes I can call and make a reservation, other times I couldn't. I have always successfully obtained a room, either way, although several times it was in a dorm-style environment with a private room but a community latrine down the hallway. The price at Hickam is right...inexpensive. It is also within reasonable (less than 10 minutes) walking distance of the PAX Terminal. I would strongly recommend trying Hickam first for lodging. |

I have been trying to get a reservation at Hickam and Pearl Harbor for the 20th. I was told they had no rooms but I could check when I got there. Has this happened to anyone and were you able to get a room when you got there? And ideas for low budget rooms? Thanks, Otha |
