I have stayed at the MacDill Inn. The rooms are comfortable. They will only take reservations from Space A 30 days out, unless occupancy is high. For high occupancy, they only take reservations from Space A 3 days out. Check out the dod lodging website, http://dodlodging.net/. There are pictures of the Macdill Inn on it. Have a great time! |

Give 'em a call and ask. 813 828-4259 I stayed there a year or so ago, it was very tight, but can't remember day of week or other reason. I had to wait around for a couple of hours and wait for cancellations... They were still reluctant it seemed, but they ended up giving me a DV suite... That made it all good.. |

Anthony, They would be fine if there was a flight from McGuire when you wish to go. |

Posted this in the Gen. Forum by mistake....I was wondering if anyone has stayed in Billeting at MacDill? I'm Cat VI. How long can you stay and how long in advance would you have to make reservations, if required? Was hoping to get down during Spring Trg. with the Phillies. How would Space-A flts. work out of the So. Jersey area to the MacDill area? Thanks in advance. Tony G |
