Thank you for all the information about the Hillsboro Recreational Cottages! We have contacted them.

Kim Wizst stated that they have 2 large cottages (3 bedroom, 2 bath) $120.00 and 1 small cottage (1 bedroom, pull out couch 1 1/2 bath) $90.00.

I remember calling them inquiring about rates a few years ago. They did have vacancy for the dates I wanted. However, the prices are definitely not TLF prices. Still worth it I'm sure. I just remember them being atleast $150 per night or something like that.

Somewhere "along the line" we heard about a lighthouse on the East coast of Florida run by US military that could be rented by US military personnel (possibly on an as available or lottery basis).

Now we can't seem to find anything about the lighthouse. Did we dream about this? Is anyone aware of a lighthouse along Florida's East coast that can be used as lodging? Thanks!
