We booked our rooms weeks ago at the Marriott at South Beach for Tuesday through Thursday. Barry, we plan to stop by Patrick on our way back to S. C. on Friday or Saturday. We won't be staying there but Ron wants to visit the base again. For about 15 years, he brought his JROTC cadets down there to stay while visiting Disney World. Looong way from the Cape though. Hotelspace from Daytona Beach south all the way to the Keys is extremely expensive to non-existant. At PAFB, we have a reserve UTA. The shuttle launches on its last night launch EVER!! There's a Marathon in Melbourne. Bikers are coming early to Daytona Beach, actual "bike week" is 3 wks away, and the Super Bowl is in Miami this weekend. Bring a sleeping bag and use your car or visit friends/relatives and sleep on their couch. Even the homeless are renting out space under the bridges!!!!!
