Military lodging near Panama City Fl

The TLF's have 3 bedrooms and are about $50 a night. The beach is among the best I have ever seen. There is a campground and cabins on the beach/park of the Navy Base. Tyndall also has TLF's available. We stayed there last year and thought it was very nice. They have hotel rooms, efficiencies and cottages that are all a stone's throw from the water. The beach itself is very sparse but they have a nice long pier and during the season they offer boat rentals, etc. We had a hotel room which had just been redone and was VERY comfortable. A word of caution though-we tried to get a room recently and were told that due to ongoing renovations they had very little availability for the near future. So call first before showing up.
