In Sept 09 we inquired about space A at the Naples Navy Lodge and they wanted about $225 per night! We stayed at a Best Western just outside Naples for about $125. I would call and check the Navy Lodge current prices. The Capo Inn has always been the better deal (if they have room).

The lodge is located in the top onehalf of the redroofed L shaped bldg. Look at the the top edge of the photo, just left of center. The Navy also have a CBQ just off to the top right of the photo next to the hospital. The last time I visited the support site CBQ they pretty much restricted lodging there to unaccompanied people on TAD/TDY orders. Families were directed to the Navy Lodge.
As I remember it, the support site is about a 15 mile road trip out into the country from Capo, and not in Naples at all. I think the nearest village is Aversa or something like that. There is no real public transport out to the Greciano (SP?) Naval Support Site.

You also should be able to go there from Capo by shuttle bus.

I have stayed on NSA Capodichino a few times and knew that there was a Navy Lodge located several miles away somewhere in Naples, but could never get directions to it that I could understand. (In a straight line, the Navy Lodge is about 8 miles north of NSA Capodichino.)

Now, after quite a long time searching the Naples area using Google Earth, I have finally had success in locating the gate to the area in which the Navy Lodge is located!

Here are the geographical coordinates for that location: 40.989906 14.248146

That should make driving directly to that location a snap using your GPS receiver.
