If anyone is looking for an alternative to the outrageous prices at the Edelweiss you might want to try Gastehaus Maria.
Their web site is:

You will need to copy and paste the URL because of the umlaut over the "a" in gastehaus.
Price for a double is between 70 and 80 euros and a WONDERFUL breakfast is included.
What made me think of this is that we stayed there a couple of years ago and I just happened to run across them on the web.
It's a great place with beautiful views and they spoke English when we were there. |
