Lonnie is right on the money. The number is current and the people there were very courteous. I stayed for three nights; $15 per day, $4 for each additional guest. Dinning hall is next bldg from qtrs, retirees welcome; breakfast $3.25, lunch $4.75 and dinner $5.25. Samll PX across the street. Space A not available for weekends (Fri thru Sun) due to trng needs. I will return. Thanks for the info from my fellow "Spats". |

Bob F., I may be too late to do you any good with this response, hopefully not. We stayed at the Smyrna facility about 2 years ago and here is the info I picked up via a business card there. The phone number that Bob Dart listed is what I have also, 615-355-3778. Further, they are open for phone contact from 7A.M. to 4P.M. They close for lunch from 12 -1 P.M.There is a DNS number, 683-3778, and an email address of stcbill@bellsouth.net. The billeting manager at that time was a lady named Karen Krupla. It was clean and very reasonably priced for basic accommodations. Also, retirees could use the dining facility which was right adjacent to lodging. |

I've stayed there within the last year. They usually have plenty of rooms during the week, NONE on drill weekends. It was $19 for my wife and I to stay. Fairly basic but did have a private bath, TV, and was clean. It was a great deal for the money, I'd stay there again. But then of course I tend to be kinda cheap! |

Bob, There's a few reports posted from a year or so ago (search for "Smyrna" in Subject line). What specifically did you need info on? |
