We stayed one night at Holloman in February 2009 on a car trip. Lodging was very nice although, if I remember correctly, wifi was available only in the lobby. Holloman is a great location for visiting White Sands National Monument and the Three Rivers Petroglyph Site (30 miles north of Alamogordo). Also, Alamogordo is known for the growing of pistachios and you can visit the World's Largest Pistachio there and sample pistachio's flavored in unbelievable ways. As for food on base we only ate one meal there, I think it was at the ubiquitous Burger King, did not try the dining hall. |

Has anyone stayed at Holloman recently? If so, how were the quarters? What did you do for breakfast and dinner on-base? |
