Come on guys. We all know Florida State is the "University of Florida".

"Roll Tide"? Does that have anything to do with the oil spill?

JT,

Sorry I didn't notice your "Go Gators" in your message. Might I suggest you try Ramstein or Hickham. They have nice rooms. "Roll Tide"

Jt - Columbus AFB is approximately 70 miles North West, about an hour and a half from Tuscaloosa via US Rte 82 - I stayed there a couple of weeks ago and it was really nice.

JT,

depending on which way you're coming from other options might be Meridian NAS (I'm not sure about what is available there), about the same distance as Maxwell, but further SW of Tuscaloosa on I-59. Further north by another couple of hours is Redstone at Huntsville.

I don't know if MS State is playing at home that weekend, but Starkville is just west of Columbus, MS--which could affect that option. Go Gators.

Try Maxwell AFB in Montgomery or Columbus AFB, MS. Not real close but better than nothing.

Looking to visit the University of Alabama when they play Florida. Go Gators. Most commercial hotels are booked. Any suggestions.
