Garee - I plan on traveling to Denver, CO later this month and attempted to make a reservation at Cannon AFB for June 24th, but was told to call back on June 17th due to availability rules. I already have a reservation at another base for the same night, but have never stayed at Cannon, so I thought I would give it a shot. Good luck on your trip.

Thanks for the information. We will be on a Road Trip in Sept and only looking for an over night at Cannon AFB not Space-A travel. We try to stay in military lodging when it is close to our road trip.

Cannon AFB was on the last BRAC list, but in a positive fashion. They lost their F16 mission, but picked up some Special Ops birds from Hurlburt AFB. The AF lodging at Cannon should have standard Q's plus TLF's for families.
Because of location and mission, you won't find much in the way of space-a flights there.

Cannon isn't being BRAC'ed. They have a new mission and will be in business for a while.

The TLF is still in business and is within walking distance of the commissary. It also has WiFi.

Give 'em a call. You may be able to make your reservation now.

Has anyone stayed at Cannon AFB, TML lately?
We will be in the vicinity of Cannon in Sept, 2010 and might like to try and stay there. It is listed for BRAC and wanted to know if the TML is still operating.Any up-to-date information about Cannon?
