Note that all of these places with the exception of Runa is under the direct control of the military whereas Runa comes under IASFA. Runa is the closest of the Portuguese military lodging facilities to Fatima, a point of interest to the mackerel snappers on the board. :-)   Meryl B. Just today I was informed that seven have been approved but the eighth had no space available. However the period of my request for a nearby lodging facility was extended (their courtesy, not my request) to cover that period as well. Another member of the board submitted a request for a single facility for a shorter period subsequent to my submital and received approval quite some time ago. I attribute his shorter wait to a less complicated request. I plan to provide a report on each of the facilities we utilize.
