The Inn on base at Travis has been booked, so I wanted to provide my experience with two local hotels. Both great. They are both listed on the Travis info sheet you can download online or pick up from USO.

Hampton Inn Vacaville. 20 minutes from base. $20 for Stan shuttle to transport family. Great facility. I got an early check-in of noon by request. Had a pack n play for my
toddler to sleep. Morning breakfast was incredible. Best I
have ever seen for free at a hotel. Eggs, meat, cut and whole fruit, yogurt, oatmeal with toppings, waffles, pastries, all kinds of breads and spreads, all kinds of drinks, cereal. Within a 5 minute walk is McDonalds, movie theater, ice skating rink, sushi, star bucks, frozen yogurt, pizza, ATM machines, and the most incredible playground I have ever seen.

Courtyard Marriott in Fairfield. Great facilities again. Small lounge with food and drink for order. Mini spa. Just outside is a Denny's, In & Out, Peets Coffee, grocery store. 20 minute walk to mall which has indoor play structure and rides for kids. 20 minutes from base and $20 ride by Stan. The hotel does have a van and if available a staff member will drive you to Travis for free. It was awesome. Got a rate of $92.

Forgot to mention, Hampton rate was $112 and Outback steakhouse close too.
