The last time we came through LAX, arriving around 8 p.m., and needed one of the discounted hotel coupons we got the last one they had for that night (for a hotel that was kinda far from the airport, with a shuttle bus that arrived only after about an hour's wait) and were told by the LAX USO personnel that these coupons are quite popular. So if you intend to get one, go to the USO as early in the day as you can manage! |

Try the USO at LAX for inexpensive hotel chits for active duty and retirees. Also if you are brave and don't have a lot of luggage The USO will give you directions for using the local transit system to get to the cruise terminal. Less $2.00 per person each way. |

We used a company called Prime Time Shuttle there last Feb and were very happy with them. They were reasonable, I think around $20 per person to take us to our ship. We had a large group traveling and reserved an entire van for $90. You can reserve online but I think you can also just pay there and get on at the airport. They have reps at LAX and anyone at the airport can direct you to them. They will also be on the pier end when the ship returns to shuttle PAX back. This website should give you all the info you need. http://www.redvans.com/ |

We are going out of Long Beach on the 24th of January for 7 day cruise to Mexico. Any suggestions for places to stay the night prior that may offer shuttle to ship? Also, flying into LAX, looking for suggestions to get to Long Beach as we don't plan to get rental car. Thanks in advance!! |
