David - just called Vacationstogo.com and gave them the same info that I have on my booking with Bestpricecruis.com and your vactiontogo.com is not even close Your Co. is $2,593.00 and My Co. is $1,197.00 (my is with out taxes and fees) . But it always pays to shop around. But keep them in mind when I'm shopping around. But I just canceled a Holiday Inn hotel at Heathrow that Bestpricecruise booked for me in Aug. -their price was $105. I just booked the Sheraton at Heathrow by going thru Hotwire.com and got the price of $71.49 and this with tax and fees. And I think that the Sheraton is a lot better then the Holiday Inn. Again it pays to shop around. Keep a smile,Larry |

David - just for your info I am czeezo. My professional clown name is ZEEZO the Clown. Retired the clown 20 years ago - but still do magic as Zeezo but not in clown make-up. Did a lot magic on the ship - but not as a paid performer. Just having fun with the crew and anyone that would put up with me. We used lynn@bestpricecruises.com and got one of the best cabins with a balcony - wonderful location. And I think (by talking to other people on the ship) that we got the lowest price you can get on a balcony room. Everyone in BB category got the very same room. We will have the same category in Aug. on the NCL Sun - but more in the middle of the ship. Will try vacationstogo.com for a hotel in London -we will tour London for 5 days after out Russia trip in Aug. Keep a smile, Larry (ZEEZO) |

Larry, Have you tried vacationstogo.com? Click on Military discounts and you will find good prices. We have used them twice and are satisfied. Just be aware that the cheapest fare get the worst stateroom in it's catagory. Will Czeezo be with you and entertaining on the cruise? David |

Remember - there is a military discount on some of the cruises. So be sure to ask at time of booking. If you don't ask - you will not get. |

I forgot to add one more idea. Even if you are already booked on a cruise - if you find a better price the travel Co. will call and cancel NCL and they will rebook (if they can save you some money). This is what I did on my last trip on NCL Sun to So. America. We saved big bucks (40% discount) about $3,000 |

Just did my home work on the Boltic Cruise in Aug. 2010 for the NCL Sun. Here is a run down on the prices: NCL (for 2 people) is $6,485. For the very same cabin. BestPriceCruses.com (for 2 people) is $3,123.82 This is a Cat. B/B with a balcony. I will never ever go direct to the Cruise Lines for a good price. |

Just an up-date. Got off the NCL Sun yeaterday in Miami and it was the "pits". We will never every book them again. We were on for 14 days in So. America and thru the Canal. Food selection was not very good and each time that I wanted a glass of milk or tea - it was one very long time before they brought them. Just this Sunday morning at breakfast I ordered Milk as soon as we were seated (had to ask for it 4 times) and it came 45 minutes late. By then I was done with the meal and didn't need or want it. In the old days as soon as your were seated - you were served your drinks - but not now!!!! Had the same problem when I ordered tea with my dinners. Now the sad part of the this tail is that we are already booked on the NCL Sun in Aug. 2010 for Russia. But it will be our very last time we will ever be on the Sun. They almost never changed the menu on the buff-fay - for the 14 days it changed very little. |

My wife and I cruised on the NCL Spirit from New Orleans. We enjoyed the cruise very much. The ship and crew were great! The Spirit doesn't have surfing pools,or a huge shopping promanade, but we liked the freestyle attitude. We don't like everything being totally organised. We enjoyed the food(a bit too much,I gained 5 lbs).We aslo liked that the ship is not overcrowded. We aren't assigned eating hours ,casual dress code etc.We went on our own shore excursions(I speak fluent spanish, and no gringo accent),so taxis etc weren't a problem.Beliz and Cozumel were the best stops,Costa Maya was turisty but still fun,we liked the pool. We like NCL so much we are booked on the Spirit out of Boston, to Dom Rep,Tortola,St Kitts,Barbados(wife wants to have hight tea!)Curacao,Aruba(maybe have a Riijstaffel(sp). Then Roatan and Cozumel for snorkling. This year we have a balcony cabing. This crummy economy is good for something, prices are very low. Anyone else going on this cruise? |

Dalton: Your view of NCL has been echoed by many others who have written in. I guess if one just wants plain transportation at a reasonable price, NCL may be their answer. But for anything other than that, they appear not to live up to the competition. |

We took the 14 day fall cruise last year on The NCL Spirit. The itenerary was great but the ship was lousy. Too many bad thing to mention in a little space. We did cut our tip down however and gave only full tips to cabin stewards and smaller tips to the rest of the crew. After this second try with NCL we would not cruise them again. |

NCL has a repositioning cruise from Miami on April 26 for 15 nights. Cruise hits Azores, Portugal, Spain, Paris, Brussels and ends in London. Current balcony price is less than $1,000 per person (double). My wife and I are on it and hoping to do a space "A" return to the state in June. |

Larry they are real good at giving you things, service is something else. After out bad cruise we received $400 credit, so of course I spend more $$$ to use the free money. Our big problem was the American crew, but haven't been on NCL in about 4 years, looking forward to you report after this cruise. |

After all the things that were said about NCL (by the way - I made a copy of all the BAD comments and sent them on to NCL) I wrote them (FAXed them) just to let them know what people are saying. They got back to me and even gave us an up grade. One deck up and in a better section of the ship (mid ship). We are doing NCL in April and in Aug. 2010. Both are 2 week cruises. I have a problem with them being the most costly in the TIPing department of all the Cruise lines. We think that we have a way around it. When we first get on the ship - will have them put on our bill that we don't want "Auto" TIPING. We will pay the room Steward ourselves. And me being a Magician - I will be doing "Money Magic" tricks at each meal and that I produce while doing each trick - I will be giving it to the people that are doing us the service. NO GOOD SERVICE - NO GOOD TIP" In the old days - when we didn't have open setting. The days that we had open setting - the service really went down hill. But when they knew that their service was good - people automatically tipped better at the end of the cruise. It is like any job - if they are guaranteed a pay check (if they work hard or don't work hard) - well you know what I mean. Just go to the V.A. and see the system at its very best. WHY WORK - WHEN YOU DON'T HAVE TO - FOR THE VERY SAME MONEY! Keep a smile, Larry |
