I took a MSC cruise, the "Poesia" in January. Price was good, lower than all other lines for 7 days. Cruised about 15 other times on Carnival, Princess, Celebrity, NCL. VERY disappointing line, specifically the food and level of service/professionalism. Ship always seemed crowded in all common areas. On the good side, the ship was beautiful, cabin quite nice, entertainment above average. But the negatives were too big for us. Would not cruise with this line again. I would pay extra for any of the other lines. Hope this helps. |

Please excuse a new users errors, I posted this on another portion of the cruise site only to realize I picked the wrong "thread".
I followed John's recommendation and went to cruise complete, they have an online chat which put me in touch with an agent. I told her I was a single intersted in cruising the Norwegian Fjords in May and she came us with a package on the MSC Orchestra at an attractive price. I researched some reviews for MSC lines and found quite a bit of negative response mostly regarding the food and the crew attitude. Has anyone done MSC recently in any area but particularly in the Norway region? If so, Can you give me your impressions. My personal email is tpender1@cox.net |

Bill, my wife and I took a 17 day transatlantic with MSC about 3 years ago and it was great. Lots of international meals though, not many steaks provided. The entertainment each day and night was excellent. Only bother was all announcements were made in 5 languages, but we got used to them. MSC ships are Italian managed, but we found that to be a positive experience. Good travels to you. |

I am looking at a MSC cruise line trip to the Fjords in May.
Anyone have experience traveling MSC?
