Mark, Where did you book your Alaska cruise. Can you give us some details about your cruise? |

I took my R.V. in for a tune-up and had them take me to the ship and they came out to picked us up when we got back in. Just find a repair shop and have them do some work on your car. It need a tune-up anyway! In San Pedro -took my R.V. in to have a paint shop repaint my bumper and they charged less then if I had paid to park by the ship. |

Someone in an earlier post suggested parking your car at McChord AFB and taking public transportation to the cruise terminal. Just an idea and it is free for the parking. I am sure in a previous post it stated how to get to the cruise terminal from McChord. Good luck. |

Does anyone have any experience with alternatives to parking at terminal 91 in Seattle. At $231/14 days it seems expensive. Perhaps there are hotels nearby that would allow you to leave a car parked in their lot if you stayed with them ?? Also, any advice on reasonable cruise insurance. USAA's least expensive was $198 for a 14 day trip to Alaska. Thanks, Trish |
