See this thread on the train method (undoubtedly you can do the trip in the both directions; this member posted his schedule from Barcelona to Seville and then on to Rota): http://www.pepperd.com/spacea/messages/989/191942.html?1234370497 The distance to be covered is rather great, because of course you are going diagonally (from approximately the southwest corner to the northeast corner) across one of the larger countries in Europe. Many people will suggest that you fly, but since you are going to and from a cruise you probably will have more than minimal luggage, which tends to favor the train over the budget airlines that have such strict weight limits for bags (and charge a lot for any overage). |

Wife and I are planning Space A flt CHS to Rota and need to get to BCN to catch a Med cruise and will probably eventually go back to Rota for flt back to CHS. I realise we can get a rental car, take a com'l flt or the train. What do you recommend? |
