I came to this site to find out about space - A and found something to contribute.
I recently found a website that gave me better than military rates. Our family is coming west to sail the Mexican Baja on a 4 day cruise on the Carnival Paradise out of Long Beach. The best rate that I could find with a military discount (does not include the processing fee) was :

I then went and registered this cruise with www.cruisecompete.com and got 4 offers from travel agencies that all beat this military rate. Final price that I booked the cruise was $1,811.35 - a savings of an additional $153 over the military rate.
The premise behind this site is that by registering your cruise, the travel agents make their best offers to you. Hope someone may find this useful information. |
