Disposable Clothing. We just did this on a cruise from Ft. Lauderdale to Genoa. stayed at Camp Darby, then Ryanair'ed to RMS. After disposing of excess (end of useful life cycle)clothing, we made the Ryanair weight restriction.

I'm a bit late on this, but...

Mail it to friends or relatives with APO privileges who can forward it the rest of the way back to the U.S.?

Just be sure to mark the contents on the customs declaration as "Used clothing, no commercial value" to avoid any question of paying import duties!

After our cruise ending in Dover, we plan to then incorporate a Space-A leg, taking Ryan Air to Venice. The "cruise clothing" will put us over both Ryan Air's limits and the possible limits of a small military jet. Thus we thought of mailing some clothes back home. But the mailing charges at the English post office are exhorbitant! Has anyone thought of any other alternatives? Figured if there was something I had overlooked, maybe someone on this board would have thought it out before. TIA Jim Bagley
