Larry: My sailing days with the Merchant Marine, Coast Guard and Navy were as part of the crew. Never have sailed as a Space A... As a paying passenger never had to stand a watch or work or even make up my bed, Just ejoyed pampering of the cruise... I am looking for some one to share a cabin on a Trans Atlantic cruise in November... Elliott |

Larry, I think you may have missed the most important line of his post: "But the best is as a cruise line passenger!!! " I'm betting that many of those cruises were made while wearing a military uniform. |

Elliott Manning, Please let me know how you cruse Navy and Coast Guard. I'm a retired Coastie and never heard of any ship that could take Space A. We did they have you sleep and can you take your wife? |

Would sure like to meet up with someone like Don to share a curise with. Have exhausted my family and friends taking them with me on shorter cruises. In the past, the cruise lines would match single cruisers together to give them a break on the dreaded Single Supplement double cruise price. That went out with September 11th. Have cruised with people from Internet sites and by myself by paying double. Last time, NCL Pride of Aloha even charged me Double Port Charges! So, now I would like to cruise with a fellow Military Retiree like myself. Have cruised 40+ times including; Coast Guard, Navy and Merchant Marine. But the best is as a cruise line passenger!!! The cruise that I am looking at is a 21 day Trans Atlantic at $875 from <www.vacationstogo.com> Deal #13211 |

Elliott, have you put this out on Cruise Critic. We have run into the same man on two of our transatlantic cruises and our friend have seen on two were did take. He is retired military and lives in Texas, and uses space a to get back and forth. Don't remember the last name, but Don is the firs name. |
