Royal Caribbean uses Terminal 2 & 3. If you are going out of Terminal 2, they offer valet parking for an additional one time $10.00 flat fee. Parking is $12.00 per day. We felt the $10.00 was certainly worth it, as we always have a lot of carry-on (for wine) luggage. We used this service in January when we sailed on the Miracle. It was terrific. The service is offered by the Republic Parking Garage people. They lock it up in the same garage as the self serve parking. Our car was totally fine and I have heard of no problems with this service. The whole garage remains locked during the cruise. I monitored the boards on www.cruisecritic.com and found out about this service. Allow plenty of time to get to the port as there is a lot of construction coming into Tampa on the I-4. Enjoy your cruise!

The parking garage is across the street from the cruise ship piers. It was a high rise parking building.

I forget the exact price for the parking but it was typical.

I do not know if all cruise ships leave from this same area or not.

If you call now, your travel agent (or the cruise line if you made your reservations directly with them) should be able to tell you whether, when you receive your travel documents a few weeks before the sailing, they will include detailed driving directions to the specific pier in Tampa from which you will embark. (And also what the long-term parking situation/cost will be.)
This information has always been provided at that time by the cruise lines we have used, whether leaving from different ports in Florida or elsewhere.
