I purchased the $1.99 app US Armed Forces and am generally pleased. It has graphic displays of all rank insignias, pay scales, graphics of the different planes, vehicles, and weapons that the various branches use, numerous listings of bases. There is an online store where more data can be purchased. I looked at the description of another program called Military Handbook for $9.99 and did not see that it offered much more than USA Forces offered for a lot less money.
