Greetings, Moo: Stanford gave you the very best answer to your question. Tarague Beach is your only on-base camping option on Andersen AFB. Nice location, but swimming is prohibited outside the hours that lifeguards are on duty. Here is the official link to their website: http://36fss.com/tarague.html

Folks,

If you want to discuss spellings or semantics of "in" or "on" then please take it off-line. If you want to help the original poster by providing some useful info then please continue here.

Thanks.

Hmmmmm? I thought that Andersen AFB was "on" Guam which is "in" an unincorporated organized territory of the United States.

Where is "Anderen"?
Is it "on" or "in" Guam?

Yes, there is a campground at Anderen at Tarague Beach, and a beautiful spot it is.

No, Anderson AFB is not on Guam... Andersen AFB is.

It was asked if there was a campground on the base. I not familiar with any bases outside of CONUS that has a campground. That's why I asked, "where is Anderson AFB?". I thought that there was an Anderson somewhere in CONUS and it could be looked up on "militarycampgrounds.us".

For ease of Googling, it should be noted that the base is spelled ANDERSEN (with an "e" at the end).

Moogully,

Try contacting the Retiree Affairs Office - link from the Andersen AFB web page - they may be able to provide some info.
